It may not have good Windoze drivers but it has VERY WELL supported under linux I have both GUS MAX and SB AWE64 myself and I found GUS sound quality and EDIT: just remembered that I used a really fine ISA soundcard that's got support in all the present day OSes - I'm talking Crystal CS4235. Descent, Descent2, Dark Forces and Duke Nukem 3D are all examples of games that have native support for the Ensoniq Soundscape. Midi only works well however.
